Registration Information

Before registering, read through 2025-2026 PROGRAMS to understand the options available, payment expectations, and deadlines. Then, continue reading the information below for everything you need to know.

Getting Started

  • Use your existing RAMP account to register. Link below.
  • If you've forgotten your password, you can reset it online.
  • If you're unsure which email is linked to your account, contact: info@canmorehockey.org

Choosing a program

At the time of registration, you'll pay division fees only. Indicate your player’s preferred program for the season: REP, RHL, or RMFHL (U11-U18).
If your player is rostered to a REP or RMFHL team, additional program fees will be due by October 31st—no exceptions.

Payment Schedule

Division fees will be split into four payments:

  1. Initial payment: Due at registration (between June 1-30).
  2. Subsequent payments: Due July 1, August 1, and September 1, 2025.

Registration is not complete without the initial payment.

All division fees must be paid by September 1. Players not paid in full will be removed from registration and refunded.

Refund Policy

CMHA understands that circumstances may change after registration. Read through CMHA’s Refund Policy page on the website to learn more about eligibility, timelines, and how to submit a refund request.

Discounts

Families registering more than one player will receive a $100 discount for each additional child. To apply the discount, enter the promo code SUBCHILD at checkout for every player beyond the first (the first child is not eligible for the discount).

Late Registration

Players who register after June 30 will be placed on a waitlist. Depending on registration numbers, some waitlisted players may be accepted — this could occur as late as September 30, 2025.

Please note: A $100 late fee may apply to certain programs.

Payment Methods

  • Accepted payments: credit card or e-transfer.
  • If paying by e-transfer:
    1. Complete this form
    2. Send the e-transfer and wait for confirmation.

Volunteer Bond Program

Continuing this season, CMHA requires participation in the Volunteer Bond program. Participation is required for registration and to remain in good standing with the Association.
All families are asked to review the Volunteer Page on our website, including the policy and FAQ document, before registering.
Please note: Minor adjustments to the Volunteer Bond Program may be made ahead of the upcoming season. No major changes are expected.

Special Bonus!

Players registered and paid in full by June 30th will be entered into a draw to win one free registration. The winner will be notified by email.

Additional Registration Information

CMHA Clinics & Camps
Details about CMHA’s Clinics and Camps can be found on our website once they have been finalized. Registration for Conditioning Camps will open in July, and members will be notified by email once dates are confirmed.

Financial Aid
CMHA encourages families needing financial support to apply at the beginning of June to avoid delays. Visit the Financial Assistance page on our website for details. Respect in Sport (RIS) - Parent Program
When registering, you must enter your Hockey Alberta Respect in Sport - Parent certificate number. If you need to find your certificate number or recertify (required every four years), please use this link.

New families must complete Respect in Sport - Parent (one parent per household). Visit this page for more information. For RIS account questions, contact the Respect in Sport Help Desk at 1-866-956-9791.

Legal Land Description

A player’s legal address must be included as part of the registration process.

  • For rural families, this means providing both the mailing address and the legal land location.
  • For Banff/Lake Louise residents, both the mailing address and the street address must be provided to accurately confirm residency.

In Alberta, a legal land description is a standardized code used to identify and locate rural properties. It’s based on the Alberta Township Survey system, which divides the province into a grid of land parcels. This system allows for accurate identification of property boundaries and is essential for verifying player eligibility, residency, and association alignment.

Providing accurate address information ensures that each player is registered within the proper minor hockey boundaries and complies with Hockey Alberta regulations.

Example of a Legal Land Description (Mînî Thnî residents)

A typical Alberta legal land description might look like this:
NW-22-51-26-W4
This refers to the Northwest quarter of Section 22Township 51Range 26West of the 4th Meridian.

AA/AAA Tryouts
If your player is trying out for AA or AAA this fall, please review the latest updates on our AA/AAA Tryout Information page.

Waivers & Agreements

CMHA is committed to creating a respectful, safe, and supportive hockey environment. During registration, you will be required to review and acknowledge several important waivers and agreements, including:

  • Parent & Participant Code of Conduct Agreement
  • Attendance and Fees Acknowledgment
  • General Liability and Website Use
  • Banff Fenlands User Agreement

Please read each document carefully to ensure you, and your child, understand your responsibilities and commitments as part of the CMHA community.
