On March 3, the board of directors met to discuss the remainder of the season. Given the province has delayed any possible loosening of restrictions for children’s sports for at minimum an additional three weeks, the timing of spring break for C.P.R.S. and O.L.S. and the intended start date for spring/summer sports and activities in the Bow Valley, we will be officially winding up the 2020/21 season on Sunday, March 28.
Goalie clinics and power skating will wind up on March 19.
We will be refunding families a portion of their 2020/21 season fees via the following options:
Option One: 100% of the balance owed to you can be applied to next year as a credit, which will guarantee your players registration for the 2021/22 season. If this is your choice, you do not need to take any action. The balance will be automatically carried to next year.
Option Two: Request a refund cheque, which will be issued beginning of May. An administration fee will be applied for the issuance of a refund cheque. To request a refund cheque, please complete this form.
Option Three: Donate the balance owing to you back to the organization. Donated balances will be applied to our reserve fund, and used in future years to fund major projects, including jersey and equipment replacement. If you would like to donate your refund, please complete this form.
If we don’t receive a form submission confirming you have selected option two or three, it will be assumed option one is your choice and we will not be following up to confirm.
Refunds will be based on registration fees collected, less operating expenses incurred. More details will follow as we complete final accounting for the season, and will be presented at the Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, May 5. More information will follow closer to the meeting date.
