Volunteer Bond: After careful consideration CMHA will use 2023-2024 season as a trial run of the proposed bond system. CMHA will be reviewing and collecting data based on volunteer participation throughout this upcoming season for the purpose of ensuring that the bond system is simple, trackable, attainable and measurable. There will be no financial commitment attached to the bond for the 2023/24 season. As CMHA develops this initiative we will reach out to the membership for two Volunteer Coordinators to assist in the development of this policy. These positions will require the collection and analysis of data related to volunteer requirements within CMHA events. Please see the Volunteer Menu on our website for more information.
CMHA Camps and Clinics: Information can be found here on our website. Registration for Conditioning Camps will be open June 1st until they are full, at which time you can add your player to the waitlist.
Financial Aid: Please see the Financial Assistance page on our website for more information. Please ask the Registrar if you have any questions or need some assistance. CMHA strongly encourages families needing assistance to apply at the beginning of June to avoid delays.
Respect in Sport (RIS): Reminder, when registering please enter your HA Respect in Sport certificate number. If you do not have this, or if it is expired, please visit this link to view your certificate number or to recertify your RIS-Parent (due every 4 years). If you have any questions about your account or certificate please call the Respect in Sport Help Desk @ 1-866-956-9791.
New families: All new registrants are required to complete Respect in Sport-Parent (one parent per family). Please follow this link for more information on the course.
AA/AAA Tryouts: If your player is trying out for AA/AAA this fall, please read through the information available on our AA/AAA Tryout Information page. Information will be updated as it is received.
Waivers: We strive to be a respectful and supportive hockey community. When registering please be aware that you will be asked to sign a number of pledges and waivers. Please read through them all to ensure you understand what is expected of you, and your player.
Interested in Coaching? Please complete the registration as yourself, not as your player (i.e. your 8 year old child should not be registered to coach!). If you did not complete a VSS (Vulnerable Sector Screening)/CRC last season, you will be required to submit one to the Registrar before October 2023. Interested Head Coach candidates will be contacted by Jeff Giesler, CMHA Coach/Skills Coordinator. For more information on the role of a Head Coach/Assistant Coach, please head to this page on our website.
Thank you for reading through the above information. Should you have any questions, please contact the Registrar.
